Portfolio
The Final Major Project for My Bachelor's Degree in Hereford College, focused on procedural gun mechanics (recoil patterns dependent on weapon type and firing rate and current state of aim down sights). Curated landscape using WorldMachine and implemented in Unreal Engine 5.6 with FAB assets for fast prototyping. This project was to focus on creating an immersive experience within Unreal Engine and to try out World Machine for a more varied skillset and to deepen my understanding of other tools than Visual Studio/Unreal Engine with procedural generation.

A university project exploring procedural generation techniques in Unreal Engine with Modular Generated Buildings.
About me
I'm Dave, a freelance programmer and experimental level designer based in Herefordshire (England) with 2 years experience within Unity (C#) and 4 years experience within Unreal Engine (C++ and Blueprints).
I belive that great mechanics are the core foundation of any game and that a well designed level can make or break a player's experience. I have a passion for creating engaging game mechanics and immersive levels that provide an ideal player experience. If I am not programming you will most likely find me doing market research (playing games).
